This policy covers EMAE & Sons Inc and this website. It sets out what the site collects, what happens to it, which third-party services run here, and how to switch them off or ask for your information to be removed.

Who is responsible for this information

What this site collects
Nothing is required in order to read this site. Information is collected in two circumstances, and they are different in kind.
What you send us deliberately
The quote form is the only place this site asks for personal information. Submitting it sends:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- The address or location of the project
- Which service the inquiry is about
- A description of the work
- When you want the work carried out
- What is driving that timing
- Whether drawings or engineering already exist for it
- How you heard about the firm
- A budget range, which is the one optional question on the form
Emailing or calling the office sends whatever you choose to put in the message. That is held in the same way.
What is collected automatically
Serving a web page requires the server to see your IP address, the browser you are using and the page you asked for. That is how the internet works rather than a choice this site makes, and it is not used to identify you.
Beyond that, anything collected automatically comes from the third-party services listed below, and those are the ones you can switch off.
This site stores one value in your browser of its own accord: your answer to the choices below, so it does not have to ask again.
What happens to it
An inquiry is used to answer the inquiry. It is read by the people at EMAE & Sons who price and run the work, and it is kept as a record of what was quoted and to whom.
Submitted inquiries are recorded on the server that runs this website and are read there by EMAE & Sons. They are not sent to any third-party customer records system. The company that hosts the website holds them as a service provider on the firm's behalf, and they may also be handled by the firm's email provider in the ordinary course of replying to you.
EMAE & Sons Inc does not sell personal information, and does not share it with anyone for their own marketing. Information is disclosed outside the firm only to a service provider handling it on the firm's behalf, to a party you have asked us to deal with on your project, or where the law requires it.
This site is served over an encrypted connection. No system is perfectly secure, and this policy does not promise one is.
Third-party services on this site
No third-party analytics, advertising or session-recording service currently runs on this site. If that changes, the service will be named here in the same update that switches it on, and the controls below will apply to it.
Your choices
Measurement is on by default and marketing is off by default. Both can be changed here, and the change applies immediately rather than at your next visit.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Browsers send two different signals. This site honors Global Privacy Control: where your browser sends it, optional services are switched off automatically and that overrides any choice stored here, on every visit.
The older Do Not Track header has no agreed meaning across the industry and this site does not act on it. Use Global Privacy Control, or the controls above.
Seeing, correcting or deleting what we hold
Email info@emaeandsons.com and ask. You can ask for a copy of what the firm holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted.
Use the email address or phone number you gave us, or tell us enough to find the inquiry. Nothing has to be proved beyond that. Where the firm has to keep a record — a contract that was signed, work that was actually carried out — we will say so rather than delete it quietly.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the effective date at the top of the page changes with it. Where a change materially alters what is collected or who receives it, it will be described here rather than left for you to find by comparing versions.
